Hot Tub & Spa Removal
Old hot tubs are heavy, awkward, and rarely fit through a gate in one piece. We break them down on site and haul every panel, shell, and cover away.

A typical hot tub weighs 500 to 900 pounds empty, and many were craned or rolled into place years ago before the fence, landscaping, or deck went in around them. That's why most people can't just drag one to the curb. We assess the access, then cut the cabinet and shell into manageable sections so it can be carried out through a standard gate or side yard.
Before we start, the tub needs to be drained and the power disconnected at the breaker. If it's hard-wired, an electrician should cap the line. Once that's done, we handle everything else — cover, steps, cabinet, shell, and the internal pumps and plumbing — and sweep the pad when we leave.
Metal frames and components are recycled where possible. If you're replacing the tub, we can time the removal so the pad is clear the day before the new one is delivered.

Example Job
A typical job in Rochester Hills
A homeowner in Rochester Hills had a 15-year-old six-person tub on a back patio behind a narrow side gate. After the owner drained it and shut the breaker, we cut the tub into sections, carried every piece out through the gate, and left the concrete pad swept and ready for patio furniture.
FAQs
Common questions
Do I need to drain the hot tub first?
Yes, please drain it fully and switch off the power at the breaker before we arrive.
Can you remove a tub that's built into a deck?
Often yes. We may need to remove some surrounding boards or framing — send photos so we can quote it accurately.
How long does hot tub removal take?
Most standard tubs take one to two hours from arrival to cleanup.
Will you damage my yard getting it out?
We cut the tub into pieces specifically so it can be hand-carried, which protects lawns and landscaping.
Do you disconnect the electrical?
No. A hard-wired tub should be disconnected and capped by a licensed electrician before removal.
